Hello Riders,

I am gifted royal enfield by my late grandfather.
And now a days Me and my father are restoring it.

I am in search of 6V electric wiring diagram of royal enfield.. Actually all Mechanics suggested me to change to 12V . But i Dont wanted to change old vintage parts like RR unit , Ignition coil , clutch coil..etc.. Is any workable solution for 6V electric wiring without any change in parts with 12v battery??? Please share your valuable knowledge .. Thanks

Handbook, no wiring diagram.

Does this look like what you've got? This is older, so the switches may be different?

You can use a 12V battery in the original system if you change the ignition coil and all the light bulbs.

Seriously though, changing to 12V with permanent full alternator output and a regulator is an improvement and a simplification.
