Does anyone know if original or repo tool kits are available for the T150V?

I thought this was something that wouldn't be too hard to find, but unless I'm missing something they are thin on the ground. I could make up my own, but I'd much rather start with the correct Triumph kit if possible.

Not as a complete kit but a quick check on L.P. Williams's site shows some of the more unusual tools are listed individually; the double-ended screwdriver and spanners are more-generally available, certainly the screwdriver was by Draper.

Another person you could try is ex-dealer Phil Pick - pm him through the TOL forum.

Be aware that:-

. The original 7/16" x 1/2" ring spanner had special thin walls so the 1/2" ring fitted between the cylinder block and barrel base nuts. My first T160 came without one and, although originals exist and are much treasured by triple owners, later ones have to be ground to fit the aforementioned gap. frown

. The 1/2" ring also fits the hex. on one end of the plug spanner, which is also that length so the centre plug can be removed without needing to remove the tank. :bigt

Hth.

Regards,

Many thanks for the advice, much appreciated.

I've started looking and sorted out a few of the tools, however the parts list doesn't state the sizes of the open ended spanners......can anyone help with that please?

British Spares has 60-3350 as a 5/16" & 9/16" open-ender but I'm pretty sure 5/16" is a misprint, 5/8" is in earlier T150 and the T160 tool kits.

As for 60-4523, what's missing from the '74 toolkit if you cross-reference with earlier and T160 toolkits is 11/16"AF and anything to undo the rear wheel nuts, so I reckon this is it.

Hth.

I measured my 60-3350 open ended wrench and it actually is 11/32" x 9/16" and is 4 inches long.
The 60-2647 open end is 3/4" x 15/16" and is 6.25 inches long.

Thank you for the information, it's simple stuff, but I didn't know so it's very much appreciated.

Mick.
