>We didn't even scratch the surface of how much there is to see.

You have absolutely no clue how true this comment is!

One year as a kid, we spent a month driving a big loop around the west.
We never saw a quarter of what there was to see all around out west.

Various successive trips, each summer, many other destinations, I still never saw half of what's out there.

Wade, I don't know anyone who can have more fun on a trip than you do. And then share it with all of us. Thanks.

Those photos from Monument Valley were stunning. Picked a nice day to be there. Can't wait to see some from your pro camera.

And ditto what Gordon Gray and No Name Man said.

"Tucson to Tucumcari, Tehachapi to Tonopoh..."

Well not necessarily in that order or even all of those towns, but you certainly got a good taste of the Wild, Wild West.

Glad you traveled such a circuitous route, I know you had a yearning to do more than just pass thru. You hit some of the Great Hwys.. 395, 93, 9, 89 and even a little bit of the old 666. Visited Panquitch,Kayenta,Fredonia and Kanab. Couple of Indian Reservations and some iconic landmarks.

There is a bit more to see and I know you will return.
Lots of special places that you will need a few sunrises and a few sunsets just to experience the silence.

Fantastic photos, thanks for taking us along for the ride.

Here's photo you stumbled into at Sonoma while I was cackeling with a really old guy.
Had to start his B44 so he wouldn't fall over. Love your highvis bandaid.

A few more from HWY 1 on our trip home to Nipomo.

"Not sure what this was but looks interesting"

Great pictures and stories Wade!

I THINK the above is a Norton Electra.

So what's the difference between the Electra and the Jubilee? Electric starter?

In the background of the pic with the Electra, I see the remains of two AJS/Matchless frames...
