OK here goes....

Does anyone have and original 1965 Triumph T120C Bonnie Sports Competition bike?

Longshot....I know. However, I had committed by "gentlemen's agreement" to buy an original '65C awhile back, but the seller sold it out from under me, so I know that there must be one out there!!! Anyway, I am trying to get good, reliable, and correct photos of several detail areas on the '65C that are not covered in any parts book. Gaylin has some good info but not many good detail photos in his book.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I would like to hear from anyone owning a '65C whether it is an original bike or not. Any interest in starting a T120C registry (all years)?

Thanks in advance....

Dave

See the 'Bikes for Sale' on GABMA. There's a 1966 T120TT, running but tatty. It's more of an eye-sore than anything mechanically wrong. I've seen the bike and right now you could get it at a good price.

It would make a good, tatty rider in about 1 week. A full cosmetic resto would take "a little" longer. laughing

If you are going down to Barber, this bike is about 45 minutes away. Be sure and say, "Richard sent me." That's the top secret code phrase no one else knows to say.

I frequently reference this website when I'm researching my 1965 T120R. I can provide you with pics of that too if you wish.

Thanks,

I am familiar with Wayne's bikes on his website. He does have a '65C that he had restored by someone in LA I believe.

Long time ago, Dave, but if you're still out there and interested in a T120C registry then I'd be interested in speaking.

I have a 1964 T120C and have owned others. A registry sounds like a great idea.
