Since not much is going on at the Panther forum lately. I made a pic at a Britbike show some time ago, that I would like to share with you.
This bike looked very used and abused, but I just loved it.
Although I had no chance to talk to the owner, I believe the side car is a Busmar Astral (correct me if I'm wrong)

What a beauty. That would be my every day ride if I had it.

I made the picture at the Eenhoorn meeting in Driebergen, back in April, I always loved these big Panthers.
There are unfortunately not many of these bikes in this country.
Did you import yours from the UK ?

Where else? haha! sorry.
Actually there are quite a few stashed in sheds in the Netherlands and in Germany (not as many as the more prolific makes, obviously) and a couple which are regularly ridden as well.
In fact there is even an Pantherman who lives inside the pole circle in Finland!!

Hi Gill
I have a 51 Model 100 and have just obtained a Busmar Astral to attach to it. Now I don't have any of the linkages to connect sidecar to bike. I have the original Busmar chassis. Would it be possible to get some close up shots of how your Astral is connected to your panther
Thanks

the "X" on the front of the body- cult sign? signal to aliens? secret recognition mark for other sidecar drivers? satellite ray target?
