Wow Skipper..! What a fantastic photo.. :bigt. Thank you once again for ALL the hard work you put in, it REALLY shows dude.. clap

Also, I never got the chance to thank you properly for helping me come over here back in 06, you loaned your BSA to the lad I was flying over with, so he could do the Brimfield thing, and it was looking like he wasn't going to have a bike to ride. Which might've seen him not going, and I wouldn't have flown on my own, well, not back then...

Then you came along, loaned the bike to someone you never seen before, or since..! And we had us a fantastic time, and now look at me..!

So my Pedigree Chum from NC, it's all your fault.. laughing

Can't thank you enough for that lad, and as sure as eggs is eggs, I WILL be back. Might be a bit late..? Well.... I will be with Wade and you KNOW what his time keeping is like.. laughing But be there I will, ok dude, just waiting for the kerosene pigeon to fly in, then around 16.00 we leave... frown

And once I'm home, I'll fire up Hal, the big computer, get on Youface and see Gilligans Island for the first time.. grin

Wade those pix of Bill couldn't be better! I gotta say it really truly was awesome to launch My Guests onto a COMPLETELY unsuspecting crowd....
Still cant fully wrap my mind around the fact y'all never knew what was coming.
laughing
It sure was my pleasure to bring those guys... Of course now you all know my tricks, next time I mention bringing the generic "guests" or "friends".....
You'll be all OVER me. laughing

Please Wade, post away. I didn't bring my camera this year cause I never remember to use it and I missed some once in a lifetime shots I think.

This is going to take a while. wink

So just a week before I am pretty much not going because of work , when Shaun tells me that him and Tom had been scheming to surprise me at the TSMR and that I had to be there. Sod work and bust a move.... So Tuesday I leave NYC so that I can hook up with them in PA upon their arrival. My brother was also celebrating a victory in a war with his ex and mother-in-law so he joined us in drink and food at the local Irish bar . We had such a good time that I forgot to take photos. So picture a line up of beer on the bar . a lot of smiles and a few hugs...
Next day I am off to Windy's Camground in TN. I get there in time for beers and later a BBQ. AWESOME !!!! Windy's place is perfectly awesome..... Next morning Bill and I head down to the Crossroads for breakfast... Bill has been telling me that he is not sure he deserves his reputation of being a big eater so I snuck in a photo .... ;o
[Linked Image]
Then I asked if we could ride down to Backbone Rock so I could take some photos. Bill agreed so off we flew. What fantastic roads!
[Linked Image]
I took some for Bill too

Then back at Camp we decided to hit the Snake .

Here is Wes ready to go on his Norton and looking the part
[Linked Image]
Here he is, looking another part. laughing

Who wouldnt celebrate being in this fine company

More later! Gotta go drink with todays client. Its part of the job ya know !

As Shaun would say, "Blimey, that dude can EAT!". I shared a table with him Saturday morning and he had TWO plates of food....saw him Sunday morning at breakfast at another table and he had TWO plates of food....now your photo...TWO PLATES of FOOD!

There seems to be a pattern here...I only wish I could eat like that and still be as svelte as HE is....what's the secret then, Bill?!?! laugh

Cheers,

Steve

Wow...cool surprise pics at Windy's place Wade.

Was truly an amalgamation of one sensory overload after another last weekend...and extra special to get to be there to share some of it with Shaun & Lisa.

He really did miss his calling as a movie star !

So continuing on

Blowing Rock Inn was a great surprise. Its a really nice place to stay and the owners are sweethearts too.
[Linked Image]

Unloaded and checked in we were all hungry and there was an English pub within walking distance. Know that Shaun and Lisa might be pining for some home style food shocked

Bellies full and some good yarns back at the Inn it was time for a good nights kip.
We got breakfast up the block (No Name had two) Then a plan was hatched to take a ride up the Blue Ridge Parkway.
After we fought off the ducks of course

Glad we went on the parkway because the next day we couldnt see any of this

Nice Wade!

So THAT was Grandfather Mountain, then??? At the end of that bit just outside Blowing Rock, Tom and I were waiting for you guys to catch up. Tom and I were like, "Did you see Grandfather Mountain?" "Nope, did you?" So I/we (Tom) DID see it (I remember that view)....I was expecting something, I dunno, a bit more dramatic. Next time I'll have to lower my expectations! smile

Cheers,

Steve

I had my 1999 one along ... As you can see, "If you build it, they will wear them"! Time for another issue of shirts for sure ....
