I stopped by and talked to him today and will post the website info later on.

I've worked out a deal with him on copies of the photos of the group leaving the lunch stop...if you want one....just wait a bit because they'll be posted to this site in a few days along with a "special" photo for the group.

Of course nothing will stop you from getting your own photos...but if the ones I come up with are good enough...you get to copy them for free off the board.

If you had photos taken another day and want those too...let me know and I'll have them thrown in with our group and you'll get a discounted price.

Just check out their site and find the date they were taken and then look under the sub titles...they have a section for British Bikes.

The Skipper

When you go to the website Rider Pics

Go to the drop down menu "Find your photos" then click on US421. Then pick the day you were there on the calendar.

It will be a day or two before your photos are posted....and because he missed us on the way in, he only had one chance at us coming back. He "thinks" he got everybody and actually remembered some of the bikes. ( for real...he's a young guy but knew a Norton from a Triumph ) BUT...with the weather the way it was, the camera would sometimes try to focus on the mist instead of the rider.

He's going to try to photoshop us a "group" photo...it won't be everybody that was there but at least everybody that left the lunch stop...it's the best I can do. I made a deal with him and will post a low res copy of the shots he got of us.( copies of what you want posted)..they will be ours and you can copy them all you want ( w/o a watermark). If you want a high res photo....let me know and maybe???? they'll give us a discount because of buying such a large group of photo's.

The Skipper

I can't wait to see them.....he said he did get a GREAT photo of the bike with the long slim polished alloy tank.(who are you?) He also said he got a really good shot of Wendy...but he looked better going than he did coming. laughing

Okay, I got it WIndy. laughing

I was in a hurry to get this out and left out a lot....what I need from you guys is to tell me which pic you want me to post/purchase...there's a good chance he took several of you. When they have them posted...just drop me a line at dad1150@aol.com and let me know which one you want in the group (collage) photo. I'll give it a little time and if I don't hear from you....I'll pick.

See ya..........The Skipper

I'm going to post the sign up list....tomorrow and would ask that if you are one of the riders that left the lunch stop...PLEASE let me know. I was so busy Saturday I have no clue who was left after all the mess we went through. You know we didn't see much of each other until it was over.

The kind fellow who took the photos will try to sort "ours" out and it would REALLY help if he knew more about what/who he was looking for.

I don't want to leave anybody out and will start posting the photos as soon as we figure out who's who....oh and I get them paid for. laughing

Take care......The Skipper (aka Gordon in NC)

PS.....they are working on getting them uploaded to their website. I'll post a link ASAP

Gordon, no sense paying for the pix when we can all go to the website and see the proofs.
I rode the whole thing and saw BlindKenny, but I think he was paying more attention to the classic just ahead of me than the dirt bike!

I want to post the photos to our website. They won't stay on their's for long.....that's why I'm buying them.

Like I said before....I need to find as many as I can so I can have them made into a collage.....which is my attempt to create the missing group photo.

This is a mail I got from Greg this morning............I need to confirm if I can get you a discount if you want to purchase a better quality photo than the ones I'm going to post to the board. I'm working on it and will report back.

The photos are up on the website now. You can see them here.

Oh MY!!!!!!!!! Some of those photo's are AWESOME!!!!!!

Here's what I need for you to do for me....please

Pick the photo you won't mind me posting, then...............

Post to this thread the number of the photo (located at the top left on the viewer), your screen name, type/model of bike and any other information you wouldn't mind sharing and that information will be posted to the PHOTO THREAD that will be created.

If you DON'T see your self. post what you were wearing and riding and Greg will see if he can find you in the photos....there's a chance he just missed you.,,but there's a chance if you weren't riding Brit...your just somewhere else.

I'm not going to post the ride list....I don't think that would help.

One of the photo's of Mr Ben is WONDERFUL and I think I'm getting a high res copy of that one....to use later on.

This thread will be deleted once we've got it all sorted...and a 2013 Riders Photo Thread will take it's place.

The Skipper

Folks.....somebody passes the hat at the Saturday Night dinner...the money for these photo's comes out of that money....for that matter if you were at ANY of the TSMR that I didn't have ride pins for...let me know and I'll send you one too.

I really wanted to have ride pins this year but wasn't able to make that happen....but there will be pins for next year and they are generic (no ride date or number) so when I get them in I'll post and if you were here this year and want one...I'll send it to ya....for that matter if you were at ANY TSMR where we didn't have ride pins....let me know and you'll get one too.

Thank you for putting up with me.......The Skipper

Hopefully next year that will be fixed, and people can ride near me with no risk of being "overcoated"! We can NEVER Thank u enough for all u do to make this ride the success it is! Cher, W&L

Damnit Richrd....it's WINDY. laughing

Fellows....one of the reasons we're doing this this way is to try to find those pics.

I'm 99.9% sure there is a head on photo of you Richrd and WINDY look for your photo in Sunday's stuff when they are posted....I think he got you yesterday. Folks...some of the reasons you might not see your photo is that it could have been out of focus and they won't post them or it's placed somewhere else on that date. This is going to take a bit but we're working on it. Also Greg (the man behind the camera) is watching this thread and is helping any way he can. (you gota love that!)

IF.....you left the lunch stop and we can't find your ride photo...we'll do our best to pull one out of the other photos being posted and add it to the collage...so don't give up yet.

That said Greg (the fellow with the camera in his hand) said that each photo has a number below it (I haven't had time to check that just yet) and we should use that....for example #19 on the britbike stuff is Wes....but #19 on the sport bike might be OB1.....see what I mean? So far I'm clear with what has been posted so far and know what your talking about, but if you'll use the actual photo number instead of the menu number it might help.

We're working on it......The Skipper

Oh hell YES!!!!! That photo of Shaun and Lisa is GREAT!!!!

Look on the BMW menu, like WINDY said it's the last one (actually there's a couple of them)...#71 in the menu but the photo's munber is..............img_6316

Okay it ain't British...but it's AWESOME!!!!

IMO one of the best photo's of the day considering the story behind it.

PLEASE keep looking .....lets find as many as we can.

I like #41 better, the picture is centered well, and shows my thin side.
