Can anyone recommend a good repair shop that deals with vintage Norton's and Triumph's? I have a 65 Norton and a 56 Triumph that need to be tuned up. I'm looking for a place like British Marketing which is no longer around.

Thanks!

The closest thing I can suggest is GP motorcycles in San Diego or Glory Sales and Service in Los Angeles. Either way, you will have to travel.

Cheers,

Keith Moore is in Orange County. Don't know about service, but I know he is a nice guy and seems to have everything Triumph.

Keith doesn't do service work any longer, sadly for us, gladly for him. But he would be a good source to ask about who might...I'm sure he knows of a shadetree wrench or two that can help you out with your work. Moore's Cycle Center...714-533-2860. In Anaheim.

There are a number of places in LA that could help you...check the BSAOCSC site.

That's a good place to start: http://bsaoc.50megs.com/

As mentioned in another thread, the mechanic from British Marketing is still around, working at Escondido Cycle Center. He's good with Nortons.

Eric, I may have not had the shop name correct in the other post, the mechanic from British Marketing isn't at Escondido Cycle Center (which is a big chain Honda/ Suzuki dealership) he's at Scott Brown's shop which is called North County Motorcycle Center and Salvage.

Is John Young still in Costa Mesa? He used to do good work....I last spoke with him a couple years ago, but haven't seen anything from or about him in a while. If he's still around, he'd be a good resource also.

There is M&S cycle in Scotia,NY

I haven't had much interaction with them, but the little experience I've had has been good.
