anybody know what the differences are between the early to mid-'60's Tiger Cub badges versus the same era T100SC's and others that used these mouth organ style badges?
The curve of the tank where the badge fits. 'C'-range of that era use at least two different badges, because the UK & General Export variants have a bigger tank (than US variants) hence use different badges. Go on, amhik.

The cub badges have some of the point removed on the upper forward tip to put a styling strip under there. The cub badges I've seen have the number ground off as well, probably to distinguish between the two. My '63 t100ss uses the 4899/900 badges on the smaller "flat-top" sport tank. In years past they were easy to find, not so much anymore. Styling strips and tank mounts are nearly impossible, it seems. Tanks are often mistaken for t100r units, and bring top dollar.
Thanks for the replies guys. Here are the badges I'm referring too. The first set are by part number for a Tiger Cub F4570 & F4571 -
This second set are by part numbers for a T100 and are F4899 & F4900 -
And I bought this R.H. badge earlier today and it is part number F4900 -
In the pictures, they look identical. I wonder what the distance is between badge holes? In other pics I've seen the curve looks the same too. It would be cool if somebody had a set of each and could measure them and provide the details.
