Hello all,
Looking at options for con rods for my rebuild and have come across these
http://www.cambridgemotorsport.com/Triumph-750-Twin-T140---Pro-H-Beam-WMC-Carrillo-Con-Rod-Set
But the length stated there doesn't seem to match the manual I have,

Bolt Size - 5/16" WMC

Length - 6.500"/165.10mm

PE Width - 1.000"/25.40mm

BE Width - 1.010"/25.654mm

BE Bore - 1.770"/44.958mm

Pin Dia - 0.750"

Now the manual calls for 152.4254mm to 152.3746mm (between centres)
I guess the Carrillo rod might be measured end to end as opposed to centres as in the manual, though that doesn't seem to be right to me. I noticed that the T120 rod they sell is the same size, maybe a mix up, does the T120 rod fit the T140.
Bike is a T 140 1978.
Thanks in advance.

The 750 rod is 6.000 inches... looks like a typo. Is this a street motor?

Thanks John, yes guess they have the specs wrong on the web site.
It is a street bike yes, are you going to tell me to just use standard rods and save my money?
I would appreciate your input.

I have 6.5" Carrillos on a T140 crank in my special, so this animal does exist. They came from Dave Nourish.

Just had a call back, yes a misprint should have been 6inch.
