Anyone out there have a Tiger 70, Tiger 80, Tiger 90, 3HW?
Flathead 350, 500, 600?
How about the earlier Val Page Triumph models from 1934 & 1935?
Where do you get your parts?
I need a girder fork spring. The spring on my 1934 250 OHV is broken. I may even need another engine or crankcases as my timing side crankcase may be un-repairable.
I'd like to hear from pre-war singles fans

PM=private message. it's sort of like an on site email. click on the user name of the person you want to contact and a drop down menu will give you the option of sending them a PM.

When given the choice between two evils I picked the one I haven't tried before

I just bought a 1939 3HW. Working on getting it running. Anyone know where I can get a speedometer drive and cable?

Do you know the part numbers ? You should start your own post, introduce yourself and what you have, how long have you been around Brit bikes, etc. etc. Are you familiar with any of the U.S. Brit bike dealers ?

This site might help:

http://users.actrix.co.nz/cornelius/Triumph/select.htm

This site is about the T100 but might be useful:

I don't have your speedo or cable but I can tell you that a 1/9 scale model kit was built by an Itallian firm, ESCI, of a Military 3-HW.
It is incredibly detailed and accurate. Doesn't leak oil.

Good luck with your project!

Bill

Jon, All,

Thanks for the responses. Some background... I have several triumphs, 1959 Tiger, 1973 Daytona and Trident, 2007 Bonneville and my "new" purchase, the 3HW. It is extreamly complete except the speedometer cable and drive are missing. I have a good parts and service manuel neither of which have anything on these parts. I do see from the pictures in service manuel that it appears the bike did have a speedometer from the factory.
