To no avail, I've been looking for performance parts for Tiger Cubs. Currently, I'm working on a 250cc racer for AHRMA and would like to get a hold of some sources or parts. I know I'm working with little to nothing but figured I'd try.

I ran across someone who decked the cylinder head / used a smaller head gasket to increase compression. Is there anything else out there?!

Scroll to the bottom of this page. Greystones, Burtons and Serco:

And you know about www.cubsite.com, right?
and the forum - http://www.cubsite.com/cubforum/

There may be others with performance parts. I think Serco has some really serious stuff. Good hunting. Al.

I bought a few bits from serco over the years , an alloy cylinder barrel that weighs nothing and high compression piston,i also bought a caged roller big end bearing and conrod/crankpin which is vital as the cub was notorious for knackering big ends. sports cams are available as well as an ignition system thats entirely contained in the primary chaincase.

...and apparently I haven't been looking in all the right places!

Anything else to look for? I'll be road racing the little guy and I know the formula and gp class is tight with 250ccs. I don't expect to be a winner but I'd like to bring a good chase with a 4 banger!

Those links are awesome. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

Can't pull up anything on Serco - looks to have gone the way of the dodo bird. I believe they may be functioning outside of the web and outside of the grasp on a bloke in the US.

Greg, If you haven't read it already. I asked about Serco on the www.cubsite.com forum. Reply below:

Sadly, Al, Serco as was is no longer.
Mr Serco (Martyn Adams) emigrated to Australia a while ago and left his Serco business to someone he thought would continue as he had (Ian Roberts).
Suffice it to say that the reputation did not last for long and the attention to detail and service that people had previously enjoyed from Serco went swiftly downhill, and expired in February 2010, or thereabouts.

You could try this Yorkshire firm that does decent Cub stuff:-
Armac Design
Martyn
