Can any body help me with an Australian avaiable paint or formula to produce the Green colour used on the Frame of the 1956 Shooting Star BSA. It is listed by BSA originally as 040.

Not a great deal of help but my experience was that neither Rover nor MG British Racing Green were very close. I ended up having my local auto paint shop match an old stock C10L brake plate I had laying around! I think the Ariel Colt is similar. B.M.L.S.

Any dedicated auto paint supplier will colour match a paint in your choice of brand.

What town are you in?

Thanks Pooch, yes matching the colour is no problem, but I would require a sample of the correct colour, I was hoping someone had already done that, and would help me out.
