Hello, I have a 1965 BSA A50 Royal Star. Can anyone tell me what modern 6 volt battery fits it? Any help much appreciated.

Any six volt battery that will fit in the hole. Some people here like AGM batteries, but if you just want to get on the road, go to cycle gear or a motorcycle shop and get a 6V dirtbike battery like a 6N6. I've used these and they work just fine.

A smattering:

'67 Royal Star

'40 Silver Star
'37 Rudge Special
