Does anyone have a 61 Golden Flash wiring diagram? I have quite a few for the A10 but most of them are for the 50's models. Have yet to see one for the 61 Flash or Royal Tourister.

Hi Gregory,

Apart from the "Police" models which had an alternator fitted, I didn't realise that the wiring on the late 50s Flashes was any different to that on the early 60s models.

Can someone tell me if I am wrong!!

I have all the wiring diagrams from all the A7's and 10 of the 50's and they don't quite match my harness/set-up. Some of my wires have different color combinations than the diagrams of the 50's.

Wiring for all generator models should be the same. The factory may have moved the switches from the HL shell to the side cover or some such, but the diagram stays the same.

As far as wire color goes, I never met an electron than gave a flip about the color of the insulation! bigt

PS. The thing to remember about generator wiring is this: The wire from the Battery Pos (+) term to the regulator E terminal must be perfect. And the E terminal should be connected to the engine or generator body with a great connection too.

"You never out-grow your need for good grounding."
