Spider knows very well how ‘Her indoors’ can get a mite touchy about money spent on what she considers to be rusty junk. Things can sometimes get very sensitive at Xmas time.
Spider catches a typical scene in this cartoon:

Grandad,

I'm sitting here laughing (out loud)at my computer. Had to call my wife over. You hit our exact situation. I bought a "new" bike about a week ago (couldn't pass up a deal) and was informed that I had spent our entire Christmas budget.

I'm going to hear about this one for a long time.

Thanks for the laugh.

Alan

Agree about cornish hen, however they are pricier than regular hen and turkey, on a $/pound basis. Had quail earlier this year they were good.

Mike, home is where we moor it.

Blimey Bodger, I hope I haven't stirred up family strife between you and your missus. All I seem to do nowadays is to start people arguing! Mind you, my attempt at winding up the PC argument the other day was a bit of a failure. Hey ho, there's still health and safety to try yet (when I can think of a good cartoon idea)!
