Not my favorite artist but he sure knows how to pick what bikes he sits on in promo-pictures:

There is also a video out of Robbie riding an old Husqvarna dirtbike in the desert. Very much like Steve McQueen in "On any sunday"

I wonder if he knows or cares what bike it is that he is sitting on?

He's no Steve McQueen, that's for sure!

Never, ever thought I'd see the words "Robbie Williams" and "impeccable taste" appear in the same sentence - LOL !
Thanks, Simon......

Too right !

Good on him for going Meriden- that was probably the same white/gold TR6C bike Brad Pitt used in his Vanity Fair photoshoot some years ago, though - probably a photographer's prop

He's no Bob Dylan or even Arlo Guthrie, thougb

Bruce Willis did a shoot for Vanity Fair as well. After seeing the mag in the rack I was amazed until later when i googled it, the other pics show that it was staged and the bike was on some kind of contraption to get the angle the photographer wanted. POSERS! the lot of 'em

If you've got 5 min of your life to waste here it is. I think Bruce and Robbie have the same bike with different color, yet same number, number plates.

Maybe he couldn't start the oldtimer but he's an expert on push button starting

Same bike

regards it as a compliment, they want to be like us at least in one respect ...

And just think there are girls who'd want to be reincarnated as that Triumph's seat !

Very funny indeed!

Of all the bikes in the world, the same one with three different people on it! Maybe it was Annie Liebovitz who shot all of the pictures? (She shot the ones of Bruce Willis)

The reason I spoted the whole thing was because at the movie theater where I work as a projectionist here in Gothenburg we did a satelite live broadcast of a Robbie Williams -consert i London.
The "warm up" for the show was a film of Robbie (or a stunt double?) riding an old Husqvarna (a swedish bike as I'm sure you all know) in the desert.
To bad I can't find the film on the web, maybe the Husquarna is almost as popular among fotographers as the Thiumph.

Meriden: There is no way that either one of them will ever be anything like me whatever bike they might pose on... grin
