My Triumph Bonneville 1967 running with DID 530 Pro V Series O-Ring Chain with 21 teeth front sprocket since 1993

Only a little grinding with Dremel on inside clutch plate for better passage.

See the chain on bike

Yes beside left side of front sprocket.

Don't easy, but I make it smile

I talked to one of my Brit-bike friends last night and of course had to ask him the chain question.
He has a Norton and several OIF Triumphs.
He has a DID 50 (530) O-ring chains on ALL his brit-bikes and has ridden thousands of kmīs over the last 10 years without any chain related problems.
BUT he does use a scottoiler on the bike he rides most.
I ordered a scottoiler yesterday and as soon as he finds out the precise chain name for me, Iīll get that chain and hopefully live happily ever after smile

Terry

I was thinking the same, but the question is, if the same narrow chain is being made as an x-ring also.
I will return with an answer, when he does.
The outer dimensions for the RK x-ring chain that I wanted is 2,5 mm wider than my friends o-ring chain, but I dont think itīs due to the fact that itīs an x-ring chain.
