Hi Guys,

Way to go, Guys! The orders are coming in, but we need to get them *all* coming it! It will be a bit shorter a time frame this year, so if you want a Calendar or two (or ten), now is the time to order, or it might turn out like it did for an unnamed Site member last year, who commented to me, "Waddaya mean, they're all sold out? I want one!".....(Of course, it might have been due to that purple Harley....) wink

There are around 7000 of us, Guys. A few of us will get 2009 Britbike.Com Calendars, and the rest will sadly have to wait until next year. Every year they get better and better, and this year will be best yet, so don't wait.

Order yourself a great Christmas present---your bikes will thank you!

So will I!

We are planning to ship the first week of December so you can give them out as Christmas gifts.

We only have about 80 confirmed orders. The minimum print run is 250 and you may remember that we sold out last year.

I hope you all like Nortons on your calendars, we are Norton-heavy this year. The Norton owners are good photographers - lots of great looking bikes to choose from. BSAs are also well represented. There are some beautifully photographed older bikes this year too. As always the bike photos come from the photos posted to the forum.

Here is a quick, but incomplete, list of the bikes that we will have on the 2009 Brit Bike Forum Calendar:

1932 Panther M100
1946 Norton Model 18
1970 Norton Combat
1963 Triumph T100SS
1968 BSA Victor
1969 BSA Victor Special
1967 BSA Royal Star
1968 BSA Mark IV Spitfire
1956 BSA A10 Road Rocket
1967 Triumph TR6 Trophy
1948 BSA A7
1958 Velocette Venom
1973 Norton Custom
1959 Royal Enfield Constellation
1960 Norton Dominator
1938 Ariel VB 600
1975 Norton 850 Commando
1974 Norton Commando
1965 Velocette Venom
1975 Norton Commando
1961 BSA Gold Star Catalina
1966 Triumph T120R Bonneville
1967 Triumph T120R Bonneville
1977 Triumph T140VJ Bonneville
1969 Triumph TR6
1972 Norton Commando
1974 Norton Commando
1966 Triumph Custom
1948 Triumph Bobber

We have other great bikes as well, this list is not complete.

Can anyone confirm the date of the 2009 Ace Cafe Reunion for 2009 yet?

Gib

Steve,

Right, sorry, I have a nice 1977 T140VJ pictured I went with the VJ designation too.
It's been corrected on the post above too.

We are keenly aware of the math and we worry about having to spring for a big box of calendars up front hoping we'll sell them. It's supposed to be a fundraiser for the forum, not a net loss for Barb and Gib.

Hi Guys,

Time if flying! We need to have your orders in right away to make our minimums, and get the calendars printed up on time.

Thinking about Christmas? (Me, too!) The Calendar makes a perfect--and inexpensive--gift for anyone interested in classic bikes. (Including YOU!)

Check out the list of bikes, and take a look at the pictures, and order up. Like last year, there will be only a certain amount, and when they are gone, they're gone. That's it for the year, so don't wait.

Get 'em while they're hot! Help support the Site for all of us, and get yourself a beautiful calendar!

Thanks, Guys.

Folks,
I printed up the order sheet and will leave it on the kitchen table for the wife to find. A HUGE hint as to what would be a cool Christmas gift......

The forum is a reflection of the participants, just as the Calender is a reflection of their beloved bikes. Both are just as good as the people who are involved make them, no better, no worse. We have a new forum, and a new calendar for a brand new year, and we can blow it off, or we can make it the best around.

I know what I want. (Well, OK, what I *really* want is a Rudge Ulster...but I also want to be part of the best British bike site on the net.)

So, for all of you guys who want one, there are still a few calendars available! And from under 15" of snow at 12F degrees, let me just say: "Get 'em while they're hot!"

Hi Guys,

I'm *SO* glad you like them! Gib does a beautiful job, doesn't he? And don't forget, Gentlemen and Debby, that as long as the advert is up at the top of the page, you can still order!

It's a good 'un!

Happy Holidays, Everyone!

Hi Tom,

Glad you like the Calendar! Yep, we got a winter this year---I think our friends in British Columbia are sending us wintry gifts in the form of cold and snow! You get in in Port A., and two hours later we get it here in Skagit!

I'm really happy you got your calendars. Enjoy!!
