Hi,

I have finally got my 70 Commando (points and all) running pretty well with the exception of what I suspect is a blocked airbleed on the LH carb. Means that it idles rich on LH side, and when hot, if I miss it on the first kick, I have to flood it to start it. Apart from that, great.

The big problem I now have is that when I go for a ride, my face locks into a big grin!!

If I try to go too far, my face begins to ache!

Is this a common problem with Nortons?

Should I get my finger out and get the BSA going, or will I have much the same problem?

Dave. grin

Don't ride the BSA, you'll wonder what you ever saw in it and sell it........

It is a sickness Mate and unfortunately it is incurable once you become infected the only solution to retain some sort of sanity is to ride and buy them whenever possible.
Please do keep wiping the drool from the corner of your mouth as that is a dead give away.

Riding the Norton is like (previously described) having sex without the condom: as compared to other bikes.

Nuff said.
