I am rebuilding the engine on my 1957 TRW. I was wondering what is the best way to remove the crank that is seized into the primary side of the cases. I was told to heat the cases with a torch and the crank and bearing will fall out. Will this hurt the case? Once I get it apart any advice on the crank dissassembly and re assembly. Thanks Jeff

You won’t hurt anything because the case only has to be heated until spit sizzles on it.
