UPDATE: More Photos Added

Hi everyone,

I am listing my 68' BSA A50 for sale. I have other projects I want to focus on and could use the funds to help move them along. It's in very good condition, having been restored by the previous owner sometime in the 90's. Since I have had it, I have done some improvements. The bike starts first or second kick, runs and rides well. Clear title in my name and the bike has 21,512 miles. Chrome is in excellent condition and paint is pretty good with a few small nicks here and there.

Asking $4,500 OBO

It has just recently gone through a top end rebuild with cylinder head work (new black diamond valves, springs, and guides) all done by E&V Engineering and NOS +30 Hepolite pistons with new rings, clips, and pins installed. New base gasket and copper head gasket.

Here is a short list of the most recent work done:

New AMAL carb with stay up float, new jets, etc

Boyer Electronic Ignition

Dual 6V PVL ignition coils wired in series

Replacement brakes front and rear

Alloy clutch pressure plate with SRM plates in a new clutch basket

Replacement cables

I will also include all of the original parts that I have (clutch basket, ignition coils, carburetor, various other) and a book with all of the receipts from the restoration and some of the work I've done.

Very nice bike, sounds like a fair deal.
Thanks, GrandPaul. I hope it goes to a good home eventually. This was my first Brit bike, so I hate to see it go but time to move on.
