'69 BSA Thunderbolt.

Yesterday while on a test ride the left side cover came off. I was lucky to rescue it before it went sliding down the asphalt.

I immediately noticed I had lost the rubber bumper at the bottom of the cover. The rear oddie was a tad loose, a slight modification with some hose resolved that.

What do you suggest using as a temporary bumper ? I stuffed a rag under it so as to continue my ride, but alas it blew away.

Thank Y'all

I'm thinking about making one from a rubber stopper.

Think about replacing the oddie clips. They go weak after a while and the panels fall off, the new ones will be as tight as hell

Now let’s all have a beer beerchug

68’ A65 Lightning “clubman”
71’ A65 823 Thunderbolt (undergoing restoration)
67’ D10 sportsman (undergoing restoration)
68’ D14 trials (undergoing transformation)
