How do I remove the front wheel hub cap on my T100R?

I learned it as “knave” but it may be spelled “nave”. Means “hub”. So it’s truly a hub cap as opposed to a full wheel disc. Now I see it can also be a full wheel disc too. Bloody Hell!

I used hard wood rod but did it differently, I tapped the wood rod from the other side moving between the 3 tabs with each tap and keeping the plate movement the same until it just popped off.

My guess would be that anything reasonably easily carried away for re-purposing would disappear 'gu grad'.
