2x 2BA screws if I remember rightly. You don’t need pillar bolts on a twin as the inspection cover uses the outer timing cover to screw on to.

Now let’s all have a beer beerchug

68’ A65 Lightning “clubman”
71’ A65 823 Thunderbolt (undergoing restoration)
67’ D10 sportsman (undergoing restoration)
68’ D14 trials (undergoing transformation)

Thanks Allan, but I need them to lock down the pazon trigger assembly. my engine came back from the builder without the AAU, points etc, just an empty hole where that stuff goes. I have the parts book and manual but cant find those part numbers, thanks

If it helps see here:
Link

Part number 76-2514

Also listed at Baxters:

link Showing it as a 2BA screw, as i say you can use anything here, and an Allen screw might be best (2BA aka 3/16 BSF).

As stated earlier these are not pillar bolts, pillar bolts are used on the unit singles so that the inspection cover can mount off the same screws.... The Unit twin is different and 2x counter sunk 2BA screws are used to hold the points inspection cover onto the outer timing case.

I watched a good video on the Pazon install on a triumph from low brow customs and they mentioned pillar bolts, I should have looked closer at the BSA, you guys are right, not pillar bolts
