Is there a needle valve for a matchbox remote float with a viton tip available . The part number for the brass one is 510/006 but i cant find one that is viton tipped .

You might look here, http://amalcarb.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=Viton+float+needles,
and ask AMAL if they make one.

I bought one for my round remote float bowl.

Phil Pearson converts the float needle valve using bits that work, give him a bell.

I rang surrey cycles today , they deal with AMAL , and was told that there are none produced for the matchbox remote float ,but, I did find out how to fix it with an Autosolvo hone and it worked . Might speak with John Pearson though . Thanks everyone .

Sorry I meant Phil Pearson, IIRC he adapts part of a car ( Mercedes?) carb to work with the leaky AMAL bits.

Last time I thought about AMAL float valves and Phil P, it was in relation to a remote round style AMAL chamber. I think he used Weber bits to do a conversion - did mine and it always worked a treat.
