Hello all,

Just joined the forum, but have been a BSA owner for over 40 years. I purchased my 1968 Thunderbolt from the original owner back in 1979. I gave it to my son a couple years ago, but as he doesn't do anything with it, may bring it back to give it some exercise. I also have a 1970 Lightning that I bought over 20 years ago, again from the original owner- a friend who bought it new in Germany while in the army there. I haven't done much with it, but have started working on it recently to bring it back to life. She was last used in 1978! Both machines are completely original, paintwork nearly good as new.

I also own a 1977 Harley FXE Superglide, and a 1929 Indian Scout.

Sorry no pics at the moment, I don't use a 3rd party host at this time.

The Lightning I am working on now is just being thoroughly cleaned up, that's it. Cylinder barrel and rear brake drum will get a repaint, but that's about it. I like them looking original.

Connecticut actually. Likely moving to Vermont to be closer to kids and grandkids!

I'm enjoying having the time to get back on the BSA, spending a fair amount of that time cleaning everything as I go. will probably replace the wiring harness, don't place too much faith in that!

Thanks for the welcomes. I know I'll have questions!
