AMA just announced that VMD has been postponed and no date has been set to hold the event later this year. They cited the Peoples Democratik Republik Of Ohio Health Department Commissar directives for the postponement.

Well, next year then. Even though there's things I don't like about AMA VMD at MidOhio (and you've heard me moan about them so I won't moan any more), they don't stop me from wanting to go every year!

Well after last years debacle, I wasn't sure I wanted to brave this event again this year. The crowds attending seem to degrade to maximum dirt bag and AMA has provided less and charged us more. All things change, it is the way of the world, but it could be time for the organizers to take a serious look at providing an improvement to the attendee experience. My big fear is that the decent people will be slow to come back and we will have way more dregs by percentage.

Oh and AMA, what do you plan to do to compensate the attendees for getting use our money all year? Yeah, we will get less from all the rest of the losses they suffered.

So it will be up to us to provide our own enjoyment and entertainment...again.

So what was last year's debacle? I have only been once, and have decided that the ratio of distance traveled over enjoyment had was too large. Still not a robot.
