Hello all! I purchased a B31 that was restored a couple of years ago. I have a 66' Hornet and know how to add oil to the sump on it when need of an oil change. My stupid question is, how do I add oil to the sump after an oil drain and change? P.S. I'm a shade tree mechanic at best. Thanks for any reply! Kevin

Not stupid, but why do you need to? Things are pretty oily in there, I just change the oil in all mine.

Absolutely no need to add oil to the crankcase, it will serve no purpose. If BSA thought it was necessary, they would have provided a filling point. The clue is in the words DRY SUMP

All the oil not being pumped to the bearings at any moment is in the tank
