Hi,

I'm looking at horn/dip switches and it seems like the best way to fit one on my bars is to use a lever mount one.
https://www.feked.com/lucas-type-horn-dip-switch-screw-on-7-8-bars-or-lever-clamp.html
Only thing is I've never seen one mounted and it doesn't seem like the angles are right to mount over a standard doherty style lever clamp.
Can anyone confirm that something like the above is what I'm after? Anyone have a picture of one mounted?

Thanks

Luke

Does fitments require two more holes to be drilled in the the lever clamp, countersunk on the inside?

The perch for that type of switch is like This one (click here)

Later bikes had the slide on the bar Ducon/tricon type switch.

What’s the bike and what year is it ?

Now let’s all have a beer beerchug

Thanks for the info guys. Bike is a '49 m21. I've got new levers on it so it looks like the bracket quinten posted is the go.

The mounting bracket that Quinten posted is for a Triumph. The parts page is right out of a Triumph parts book. The perch that Allan posted is the correct perch but the wrong switch. The correct switch is Lucas part no. 31220 and mounts to the back of the perch that Allan posted. Here's a page out of a BSA parts book and one mounted on my Gold Star.

And the plain brass perch is correct for a military M20/21.
Military bikes are back in fashion now days so a lot of military spec parts are being repoed.
