The plastic drink bottle does jar a bit! Engine is using oil, I'm trying to work out how much is being burnt and how much is being blown through the breather.

Used engine oil tastes and smells better than red barrel anyway......................................

You could well be right there Nick ! ..
Most of my early memories of Watneys beer revolved around one of mankind's best ever inventions ~> The Watneys party 7 can ..

But using one of those strapped on just to catch the oil drips would definitely cause some serious wind drag grin

Don't take the pi$$ out of Watneys,,, it needs all the flavour it's got.

OHHH Nick! That's NASTY, but FUNNY!

In the USA the joke is COORS and Budweiser ("Bud Lite") as beers that substitute for bottled water but at a higher price.

I should consider myself very fortunate in that South Africa must be one of the best motorcycling countries that there is. I have only just got my 1953 Matchless 500cc single going, albeit with some carburettor problems. nice to connect with other Matchless riders!

Hi Dave,
I've also just got my black AJS 500 going again, but it will have to wait out lockdown before I can use it on our beautiful country roads.
