T'was a cold damp morn out there today, but Albert fired right up and so off we set, loaded up with Liquid Gold and made it to the meeting point, to be met by the sight of a load of Olde Bikes. For not only was the BSAOC Kent lot there, we also had the VMCC and the ATOM lot there as well, wonderful stuff over 30 bikes in all I think...

Baza57 was leading us all on his lovely 37 Empire Star, not see him on this machine for far too long...

Some lovely bikes out today, I liked this, a two stroke, the owner used old engine oil in the petrol/oil mix, smoked like a trooper it did...

Wasn't long before we all fired up and set off out into the mud filled, dead leaves strewn roads of Kent, wonderful stuff. Arriving about a hour later at a lovely little museum, containing nothing but Micro cars....

Seems this one was a Tourettes, so we all swore at it....

I'm reliably informed that this Peel, a car made on the Isle of Man, was worth over £100,000 my Flabber was Gasted I can tell ya....

All in all a marvellous day out with all the lads....

By the way, I've spent hours of life trying to polish out that blur in the camera lens, and bugger all I've done has worked, so....Sod it, I can't be arsed, if it offends you don't bother looking at the photos.... thumbsup

No pictures of you folded up in one of those little beasts? That would be something to see.

Great-looking group of bikes, and a good destination. Driving a Ford Festiva (Mazda 121) like I do, I obviously like the microcar concept, although that 50cc Manx Peel is a little too much of a good thing.

We were togged up and off to the 3rd Saturday Guzzi lunch this past Saturday, temps in the 30sdegF, but we dressed up warm and had a good time. No old bikes though ....

They have that Peel in the micro-car exhibit at the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville. Also have the 2-seat model, looks like a flying saucer with wheels.
Great post and pix as always Shaun.
