Hi guys
I am putting together a basket case 1967 Bonneville. The foot rests I have were both the same, so the LH rest did not have the brake stop adjuster. I just found one on e-bay that looks to be exactly what I want.

Of course I bought the part first, as it was a good deal and was located in Canada, so shipping/duty was not as steep as coming from the U.S. So, now that I check part numbers in my parts book it should have been a part number F-6069..

The peg i purchased is part number 82-9636, but do not know if this is the same one I need or not.

Does anyone knows what P/N 82-9636 fits or more importantly, if this will work on my '67 project?
Thanks
John

Are you certain your part is "82-9636," and not 82-9736?

82-9736 is the part number listed in my 1970 650 parts book for the left side rider foot rest. It should be the same shape footrest for both years of bike.

Your new one is different from the '67 on in that the threads for the mounting stud will be "Unified" (UNF) and not British Cycle (CEI).
You will now need the proper UNF threaded stud and nut that holds it to the engine mounting plate.

Swede
I always enjoy reading your advice!

Thank you for taking the time and for the added bit about needing the correct UNF bolt.
Best regards
John
