I've taken on a basket case (came home in boxes in a BMW 325i level basket case) and I've almost got it ready to kick over. Problem is, the last Triumph I owned was back when Carter was President. For the life of me I can't remember how the various control cables (save the throttle cables) were routed through and around the triple. It's a 1971 OIF T120R. I know the Air cable routes through the grommet on the right side of the frame but beyond that I just don't remember. The Tach cable seems to be the worst and there is not a lot of cable there to route too many ways. Any help or photos would be greatly appreciated as causing harm to new cables seems a bit counter productive.
ADD. It's not just a condition, it's a way of... Oh Look!!! Kittens!!!

The tach cable is pretty much a straight shot from the drive to the gauge as long as the tach is on the left. I'll try to remember to take some pictures tomorrow.

At one point the tach cable on the oif bikes had a small wire bracket to guide the cable On my t140 and most bikes that you see, it's not there
The clutch cable is best left to it's own devices and tucked between the gauges then under the tank with gentle curves

Thanks for the responses. It's kinda a mess there. Started it today. First time it's run since 1991. Still got a long way to go.
