Hi Alan,
Those Ariel stands suffered from rot and any originals I have come across have so many repairs are virtually unusable
Unless you can find an original that came from a very dry climate, then not much option but to bite bullet and contact Draganfly

Ariel swing-arm stands were welded fabrications. The "feet" were stampings, and were usually worn-through or crushed by use.

If you find one, figure on having new, heavier "feet" machined from billet steel. They are then welded onto the stand.

Having two Ariels in the garage, both in need of parts, I understand what you will go through to find what you need.
Ariel parts books only show break-down drawings of engines, frames, forks and gearboxes.
Ariel had the habit of changing sheet-metal parts every year, with new part numbers, but the parts books never showed pictures of those parts.

It has taken me nearly 40 years to find enough pictures and information on what the proper fenders, battery mounts, foot rests, air cleaners and chain guards look like for these two bikes.

The problem is: Ariels are just TOO DAMNED BEAUTIFUL for me not to restore them. or at least to TRY.

Yes, it WILL be "a labor of love."
