Does anyone know number of sealed bearing for qd hub and brake and 8 inch half brake front hub? Was going to try and source them locally.

If you have the original bearing codes a good bearing guy should be able to sell you the sealed version.

This one if I’m not mistaken is for the later drum with alloy back plate, if your using the drum with the steel back plate the bearing size is different.

Now let’s all have a beer beerchug

68’ A65 Lightning “clubman”
71’ A65 823 Thunderbolt (undergoing restoration)
67’ D10 sportsman (undergoing restoration)
68’ D14 trials (undergoing transformation)

2RS on the end of a bearing number tells you it has seals both sides.

In 1965 A65 front and rear use the same bearings.

The 1965 A65 fleet used full width hubs back and front on some models
and Crinkle hub and 8" half width front on others. The bearings are not all the same front and back on the full width hubs.

Beach:
when i doubt punch the old bearings out (you will have to anyway) and physically take them into the bearing shop...........not all bearings are created equal so be wary of very cheep asian ones ...having said that NACHI are pretty good , those are what i used and they are readily available (here at least) .
