For anyone belonging to a Yahoo group, Yahoo has announced it is ending its forum service. All things archived with them - conversations, files, photos - will be deleted in December. The Yahoo groups I subscribe to are all aware of this development. I am writing in case any RE fans here have info they value on Yahoogroups.
A leading contender to take over was Groups.io, but they have responded by doubling their fees to $20/month or $220/yr and suggesting they may not be able to transfer every group in time so, for a one time additional fee of $200, a group can ensure special attention.
Hitchcocks have their own message board and have just taken over Kevin Mahoney's Classic Motorworks forums as well. It sounds as if homes may be available there.

Chris

What if we all posted right here? Is that something that would be allowed by management?

Hi Chris. I don't know what's going to follow but I am supportive of whatever decision Royal (the Yahoo forum moderator) makes. He has asked for $10 contributions to be sent to his email but on Yahoo the email does not show up complete - it reads - [email protected]
If we wanted to move here I would bet Morgan would accommodate us. A good percentage of posts here are already twin related. Tech info (manuals, how-to info) could be posted on the ozemmate site.
My only minor concern is to not end up where we are mixed directly in with "new" Inter and GT owners.

10/26 - I got Royal's email now. Thanks Craig.
