I'd like to replace the studs and bolts of this engine I'm working on but all the sets I see for sale seem to be for 68- 70 A65's. Are they same for 71-72. Know who sells the kit for 70-72? Thanks

The length of the exhaust bolts differs as the boss in the head is larger on the earlier ones i think, it's only an 1/8 or so though.
Very early heads had 5/16 rear bolts rather than 3/8.
Most replacement sets i've seen all have shorter stud/barrel threaded sections, a bad idea.
I'd use the ones you have, they don't wear out really.

The ones from SRM have been the best ive seen/used, because of the short centre stud as Nick mentions I spent a time with a modified set just to get the right lengths etc, the centre one I used from an A10 (alu' head?) set and cut to length.
