Hoping that you look at this forum.

Thanks for helping me with my Triumph 650 after I was trying to start it for ages ( a million kicks) on Sunday. We tested for a spark and it was ok, wasn't it. It did start quite quickly after I gave it a really good tickle. I was worried about flooding it earlier. I should have tickled it more in the first place as could always try starting on full throttle if I did flood it. I think that the mixture is a bit weak after I changed the needle jet recently. I don't know why I didn't even try the choke! I suppose I am used to it starting easily after a run. I tried the spark again when I got back and it was bright blue even though the battery was still completely dead. Will get a new battery as maybe with the plugs in I can't spin the engine fast enough.

By the way, I had a look at your bike earlier and I was very jealous as it was very smart! Also when you rode in I was impressed by how mechanically quiet it was and the peashooter silencers sounded really rounded and nice .

Sounds like you had quite a day !!
At least you got home under your own power.

Good luck contacting him then.
There are at least 10,000* (?) commandos still on the planet,
and maybe 100 (?) of them check in here ?
Thats not very good odds, but you never know...

*wild guess, but there do seem to be a lot around.
That would be a 20% survival rate, if ~50,000 were made ?

I know it's a long shot but thought I'd try as Britbike seems quite popular.

Indeed. And word seems to spread fast these days,
so it will be interesting to see what happens.
