How do you remove/install the spray tube 622/123. I have one that does not protrude up into the carb body as much as the other two. I gave it a tap from underneath to drive it further in but it did not budge and sounded solid.

Try some heat. Put the carb body into boiling water. That's whats recommended for float bowl seats. I wouldn't use anything like a butane torch.
