Just throwing this out there. Does anyone have a lead on a decent alloy head?

I didn't read it as a "makes me feel bigger" thing, but as a friendly hint that the "Buy" part of the "Buy and Sell" board might be a place that would get as many or more hits on a request to buy a custom cylinder head?

I wouldn't mind having one myself, so I'll be trailing behind looking for any sources you might find ....

Thank you Lannis. I have been looking there to be sure. Just reasoned that maybe there might be someone who doesnt visit that forum, but does look at this one. Thanks again Sol.

There was a chap in Oz that had some (think they were new ones made to original spec) if I remember rightly his name was Phil.

True John, The last 4-5 years as I understand it. They had alloy, which seemed to dispel some of the overheating issues. Mine being a 62' is in repairable condition ( fins needing to be filled in ), but have exhausted leads on a local capable welder who is also willing to take on the task. The Australia lead is great. Will look into that. And thank you to Allan. Had been focusing on Europe and Canada. Did not think to look in Oz. Thanks again Sol
