@Walker22

Is this the only type of Posts you are gonna post? 4 Posts, all 4 regarding selling, in the private “buy and sell” sub forum, without a proper introduction.
Do us and yourself a favor and inroduce yourself, as asked before..

He totally disregarded my post. If he is legit and in fact does want to sell his parts, he might take the hint. I am interested but.....the ball's in your court Walker22 thumbsup

I'm not surprised. These types usually give themselves away just by the way they word their posts. I felt that immediately, hence the reason for my first post in this thread.

I did see the mag/bsa cover listed on eBay but it was pulled before the listing ran its course. I went back to find it again and try to message him through eBay, thinking maybe he was having issues with using the forum here and it was pulled. Bummer, he posted on my want ad about alloy barrels for an a65 and i got excited.. 😒

Im not sure where im supposed to introduce myself. Im sorry i did not do the correct procedure but im also in the middle of moving and have two jobs so its been difficult for me to get on the forum lately. Im 34 and live in Minnesota, this will be my 4th build or restore. Ive restored 78' cb350, 2 xs650s (one bobber one chopper), Im on my second ducati, a streetfighter 848 as a daily driver. Ive tought myself everyrthing i know from youtube and great forums like this. I also own a klr 250 dirt bike and a frankenstein XS750 i just picked up for free. I originally made the post with the intentions of selling nice parts to members of this forum. I received about 30 boxes of used harley,bsa,kawi, and yamaha parts parts. After more digging i realized i had almost a complete bsa motor so i pulled the listed eBay parts and decided to dig in and rebuild this motor. I waited 3 days and did not think anyone had responded or had any interesting the parts. Today was the first day ive seen the DMs in my inbox and im sorry i failed to see them. im undecided if i should do full restore back to factory or build a street tracker. I know im going to need to lean on members of this forum for help in the future and didnt mean to rough any feathers.

not to worry. unbeknownst to you some aspects of your post hit the scammer alert button.

we get those guys from time to time. i once illustrated an ARD magneto i had just bought on this forum and a scammer tried to sell me another using my own pictures.

put up some pictures of the parts you have to sell. the BSA crazies here will go over them with a magnifying glass and identify all the exact applications, which will make selling them more straightforward.

every day you do not take a chance is a day of your life that you will never get back.

Might not help response to posts as many BSA members are still working their way home (or around the UK) after doing the International Rally.

Cool. Personally id build it as a tracker unless you have ALL the original parts plus some as a full restoration will cost you a lot of money and youll never be able to sell it for what you have in building it out. Good luck!! Let me know if you still wanna sell those alloy cylinders

Thanks for the advise. Im currently in the process of rebuilding motor and retrofitting a suzuki GSX-R front end on the BSA chopped up frame i have. Ive made the decision to go tracker on this build.
