Hi, what's the trick to getting the Boyer magnet disc out. The seal has gone behind it.

The Boyer rotor is threaded 5/16" UNF.

Remove the 1/4" retaining bolt, screw in a suitable 5/16" UNF bolt then tap the bolt head in different directions (up-down-left-right or whichever order you like) with a hammer (not too hard). It usually doesn't take many taps to loosen the rotor.

Attach a set of vice grips and tap them if it is stubborn...…….or if you are like me, you will make up a small slide hammer out of bits of unused metal you had lying around.
