Hi Velo folk,

I have a T160 and am looking into an additional ADV. Was the Velo valve an external fitment?

Yes, it's a small tapered housing, usually chromed, a couple of inches long, that screws into the bottom of the oil tank, with the oil hose screwed into the lower end.
Inside is a ball and spring. Look at any RHS photo of a post war Velo, you'll see it attached to the bottom of the oil tank.

Is it available as a spare?
