(For those who don't know, this is the brake plate with a rectangular lug that slips into a slot in the swing arm,1954 being the only year that had this. Used on T100 and T110 of that year.)

It was not a strong feature, and severe braking would tear it loose, The "fix" was the tubular strut we know so well that runs forward from the threaded stud on the brake plate to the brazed lug on the swing arm.

But this plate bsalloyd is searching for will help make his '54 T110 restoration authentic.
