I know it's not quite a Gold Star, but they're closely related...

My BB34A rebuild is currently stalled for want of an exhaust valve. As far as I have been able to ascertain, this should be a 65-1633, which none of the usual sources seem to have available.
It would be great if anybody can point me in the right direction, or suggest an alternative.

I don't know of an alternative, but in case it helps in your search, that part no. shows up in 1965 and 1970 prices lists, i.e. it wasn't superseded by a different valve.

Stem and head diameter are the requirements...in the depths of my memory, I recall cutting down a Ford 351 Cleveland valve to suit..

No generalisation is wholly true, not even this one.
