2019 Featured Marque: Triumph
This year, the Classic Motorcycle Day show has a new home and expanded classes. 2019’s Classic Motorcycle Day will be held on Sunday, May 19 at our new location, the Mt. Airy Fireman’s Carnival Grounds, Mount Airy Maryland. Our event is evolving once again. What started out as British Motorcycle Day in 1984 changed to British & European Classic Motorcycle Day in 2002. The day will once again transform and, starting in 2019, be simply Classic Motorcycle Day.
Classic Motorcycle Day will continue to feature British and European classics that are 1983 or older, but this year, will also include Japanese classics from this same time period.

AH, saw that it has moved. over on ADVrider, copied the poster to post here but I see you have already got it in. I think you guys are making a good move to include period Japanese bikes as there's a lot of folks a gen or 2 behind us who are quite enthusiastic about Jap bikes of the 60s & 70s. If I can make it I'll be there on something classic, whether it be my 74 Commando or my 89 R100RS. Finally rode down there for the first time last year, and found a relatively easy way back north going. home. Gotta sort t his new location and see hw it looks to ride down there.

If I can finish getting the Jubilee sorted, I'll be there!

This was a great event today, very hot, but great turnout of some very nice bikes. Biggest crowd this year in quite a while. vintage Japanese is allowed now.
