A bit sad, because we used to call the rallies a big family like meeting. And for some of us, the dog is a part of the family.

I've only been to 2 BSA International Rallies, (IOM & Norway) but I don't recall seeing ANY dogs at either one? Maybe they could stay off site with their dogs and still participate at the rally?

UPDATE!

The International rally booking forms and details have now been emailed to each countries BSA club.
Book through your local counties club for the rally.

There is also a Facebook page for discussion if you don't want to use this site, but if you want to use this site, then that is also fine.

Andy -

Not sure if this has been discussed on another site but ....

... Although we have received our booking forms through our club (OVBSAOC), I have not heard anything about assignment of an International Secretary to coordinate bookings. We have done it both ways (I filled that role in 2008), but in 2014 we sent our bookings individually.

If we as individuals provide our Club membership bonafides, properly fill out the form, and properly wire the Rally fees in pounds as directed on the forms, can we send our bookings in individually ... ?

Lannis

Hi Lannis,
yes you can send in your bookings individually to me, however group bookings get a discount on money transfer from the banks.

For those making international money payments, there is an alternative to using the normal bank transfer method. The fee's may be cheaper

Must be an issue with my laptop. I have managed to view the booking form on my phone and have downloaded a copy if anyone else is having similar problems.

I have created a Facebook page to help people arrange / ask for loan bikes at this years International rally in the UK.
Please ensure that you have the required driving licence & insurance for riding in the UK.
It may be possible to get yourselves added to your lenders insurance, but that is the responsibility of the 2 parties.

Umm my sainted wife thinks this is a great idea. I told here she’d have to ride. TSMR first then I’ll have a look at this.

I’d try to ship the Thunderwing of course.

Now that I have registered for the Meet and booked a flight I need to find a kind person to lend me a BSA for the Meet. I'd much appreciate feedback on this thought.

Thanks, Peter Quick, Treasurer of the BSAOC New England and owner of BSA Unit Singles LLC, supplying unit singles spares world wide.

Bill, what happened to that fabulous, older BSA you bought that had all the period correct goo gaws on it? All the chrome seat rails and fender trim and stuff man I loved that bike when I saw the pix of it.
