One fix seems to lead to many fixes!

I've recently changed my a65 Thunderbolt back to its original 650 barrel & head as it previously had an a50 set up.

I took it for a quick test ride, the clutch was slipping and when I stopped it had fair amount of engine oil coming from different areas on the primary. It also has white smoke coming from the left side exhaust when stopped but giving it some revs.

Are these issues likely to be related and any ideas what is causing it?

Many thanks

The white smoke indicates it's burning a drop of oil. Did you glaze bust the bores when you went back to 650? Bed it in? etc.
Oil coming from different areas of the primary...........Rear, where drive sprocket is? other than that, either the gasket
is clapped or the cover is perforated, that will do the trick.
As it's burning some oil the chances are the crankcase pressure is getting a bit high and blowing past the oil seal if it's old.
Plus remember the breather is up behind the primary case as well. That will spit oil out if there's too much case pressure.
The clutch slipping could be the oil, the spring pressure, the plates, the actual clutch assembly, pushrod adjustment etc.

Did it do this "before" the swap?
