I need to replace the tires on my ‘61 G80CS. Both f and r are 19” diameter. The last time I changed them (about 20 years ago I used Avons. Safety Milage A (3.50x19) up front and a Safety Milage B (4.00x19) in the rear. Should I stick with these or use something else? Bike is used lightly on road.

Safety Mileage have a square shape much more appropriate for sidecar use. I used a 100/90-19 Avon Roadrider on the rear of my 1928 Ariel and a 3.25-19 Roadrider on the front. I was very happy with their performance.

Thanks Mag. I am looking for something that looks a bit more classic. The Avon Roadriders look a bit modern.
